Deepika Jeyakodi is an aspiring space law practitioner who truly believes that 'somewhere something incredible is waiting to be known'. Deepika has an Advanced LL.M in Air and Space Law from the IIASL, University of Leiden and a Masters in International and Constitutional Law, University of Madras, India. Earlier, Deepika practiced as an Advocate for five years in the Madras High Court. She is also the co-founder of an India based human rights NGO called Cheer.
Deepika and Mirjam won the Best Paper Award at the IACCM Academic Forum in San Diego in 2016 for their paper titled: ‘Strategizing IP in Open Innovation’. Sharing their interests in Innovation and IP, both Mirjam and Deepika have been working in their private time and on a personal title on the book 'Playing the Innovation Game' and presenting workshops around the same theme.
For long term success ‘it takes two to tango’. That is a strong conviction of Mirjam Ros. People and collaboration are the focal point of her approach: “In the end, it’s all about people, no matter what business you’re in. Challenging my team to perform better than they believe they are able to, that’s my everyday responsibility.”
Mirjam holds a Master in Business Law and in Public Administration & Public Policy. She has twenty years of experience in the aerospace industry, oil & gas and R&D. Her focus areas are: Innovation & Intellectual Property, Business Strategy & Partnering, Human Development and Design Thinking. She works at Airbus since 2008 and is a Director Commercial, Contracts & Legal and member of the Management Team at Airbus Defence and Space in the Netherlands.
